4 Million Is Too Many

After a quick visit to Seattle this weekend to deliver my daughter’s belongings it makes me wonder why Billings’ officials want to grow bigger.  The traffic is horrendous and the costs are through the roof.  Their city provides everything for everyone, but with a huge cost.

If you want to travel in a lane with no traffic you have to pay anywhere from 75 cents to 3 dollars per mile.  This is on top of the taxes you pay already to use the roads.  Why would we want the headaches that larger cities have is beyond me.

We are lucky that our town is the size it is.  If you want big city stuff move to one.  I think Billings residents like their town just the way it is....
