A  former Montana Army National Guard soldier charged with fleeing the country, to avoid facing felony sex crime charges has been apprehended in Spain.According to Attorney Leo Gallagher 38-year-old Jeffrey Lane Wenzel was arrested last week. He was charged after failing to show up for trial in January.

It all started with a felony sex crime against a minor and two counts of sexual abuse of a child that involved enticing the girl to send inappropriate photographs of herself via cellphone. How creepy can you get? Just to make things worse, the loser didn’t even have the guts to show up for the trial so of course they added a felony bail jumping charge.  On January 30 federal authorities charged him with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and we think, just added creepiness.

At the time of his initial arrest, Wenzel was a Sergeant first class with the Montana Army National Guard stationed in Butte.  But in our book, you are a loser and don’t deserve to wear the uniform.
