A Few Signs Fall Has Arrived in Billings

Sitting in the Cat Country Studio each weekday afternoon give me an awesome view of our beautiful city. One thing I have noticed over the past few weeks is the gradual change of color in the city's trees.

I do believe Fall is here.

My family and I took a little drive this past Sunday and visited a few places around town where Fall is alive.

Our first stop was First Alliance Church off Central Ave.

We were driving by when we saw pumpkins everywhere. We stopped in and talked with Kirk who said they were selling these pumpkins to raise money for the church's youth program. These are some of the best pumpkins I've seen and of course my boys had to take some home. Awesome job guys!

From there, it was off to the store to get a few groceries for dinner.

You can't even walk into the store without realizing time of year it is. I have no problem with that because Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. The color, chill in the air and smells are some of my favorite things.

Many of the food items have a Fall feel to them too. It won't be long before these are off the shelves replaced by candy cane flavors.

We continued towards home from there and made a quick stop on top of the Bench where I got this amazing picture.

The trees are changing more and more everyday and I think it's a beautiful sight. As the oranges come more into play and the chill comes on more, you'll find one heck of a happy guy here.
