We love this story! A Montana soldiers’ homecoming was a big surprise for his 10-year-old son. Tuesday evening Cameron McNamee was chosen to throw out the first pitch at an American Legion baseball game in Great Falls; no doubt a pretty cool experience for any kid his age.  But what makes it even better? The man behind the catcher's mask turned out to be dear old Dad, Ed McNamee and he hadn't seen him since December!

McNamee has been deployed with the Montana Air National Guard for the past seven months. Well long story short, Cameron's pitch went right over the plate, but McNamee still wasn't sure he'd pulled off the surprise.

Cameron says his first thought was “Is that really him?"

Cameron's sisters, 15-year-old Stevie and 8-year-old Avery, ran out onto the field and joined the group hug as players and fans clapped and we are guessing a more than a few tears were shed on the field.

McNamee said he plans to play golf with his family this week.

Welcome home soldier!
