If you were one of the more than 12,000 spectators at last year's three-day rodeo event at MontanaFair, you got to see some of the best riders and ropers in the business.

With 536 cowboys in competition for big purses, 2014 was a record-setting year and an exciting show for fans of all ages.

The 2015 Yellowstone River Roundup adds 50 more cowboys and an even bigger purse making it the biggest that MontanaFair has ever seen. It is a perfect fit for the fair's centennial celebration.

Rodeos are part of county fairs all across the country, but this one draws the best competitors in the world, including four of the five top steer ropers and five of the top ten bull riders on the planet. Among the best, you'll find some familiar, local names, too. The Tryan family name is once again well represented and we're proud to have Billings local, Travis Tryan back to do some roping this year.

With 586 cowboys in competition, you'll be able to see more slack than ever. For those not in the know, slack are events that take place outside of the regular performances which means you can watch plenty of bull riding, steer roping, steer wresting and more with just your basic gate admission.

If you're serious about catching all of the Yellowstone River Roundup action this year, check out the deal on the ValuPass. Just 59 bucks covers your fair admission, all rodeos, night time concerts and the Supercross event.
