In spite of the horrific events which took place in Boston this week over the marathon bombings, the only major shift triggered in broadcast primetime was that of NBC's newest 'Revolution' episode, pushed back a week for its bomb-themed content and to air additional news coverage. Now, ABC's 'Castle' has opted to re-schedule an upcoming episode with a bomb inherent to its plot, but what will air instead?

'Castle' fans will be in for a bit of a shift this Monday, as ABC has opted to postpone viewing of upcoming episode "Still" for its explosive-themed plot. Originally scheduled to air on Monday, April 22, the episode featured the main characters attempting to rescue Beckett (Stana Katic) after she triggers an explosive device and is forced to remain still to prevent detonation.

Instead subsequent week's episode “The Squab and the Quail" will now air on April 22, while "Still" has been scheduled for April 29. Stana Katic herself first tweeted the news late Wednesday, adding, "Yes. Out of respect. Please note that the chronology will b off."

The move is somewhat similar to what NBC did with this week's 'Revolution' episode "The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia," which involved a nuclear bomb and ended up pushed back a week, landing the finale in June.

Stay tuned for the latest announcements, and rest assured that 'Castle' will continue if only slightly out of order.
