Ahead Of The Curve Child Development Center Bomb Threat
Ahead Of The Curve Day Care on Hesper Road in Billings was evacuated at about 1:45 Tuesday, September 17th due to a bomb threat.A call made to the day care facility said there was a bomb in their campus and about 100 day care kids and teachers were sent across the street until the all clear was established.
As you can well imagine parents of the kids were upset. Some parents came early to pick their kids up. Billings Police officials searched the building and found nothing. After about 30 minutes the kids and faculty were allowed back inside.
Sargent Shane Winden of the Billings Police Department said,
The next step is to figure out who made the threat.
In a related story today, Burlington Elementary, 2135 Lewis Avenue was under lock down at 12:15 p.m. as Billings Police were making an arrest in the area of the school. There was no immediate threat at Burlington Elementary. The lock down lasted about 15 minutes.
