Am I The Only One…

That wants to pick up their kids from school after hearing this story in Billings?  Well, am I?

I keep watching these updates from the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., and it's making me sick.  I mean really, physically sick. How could someone be so insane that they would want to hurt and kill our youth like this? Not to mention the teachers and principal that were killed as well.

I have a 15 yr. old daughter in High School, 9 yr. old son in 4th grade and a 6 yr. old in kindergarten.  I can only guess at the horror these parents are going through. I want to drop everything here and run to their schools and pick up my children.  Just to make sure they're safe and to tell them how much I love them.  They are my life and my reason for living.

I pray, that in our community, we never have to understand what these parents are feeling right now.  I commend all of the teachers, police, firefighters and  everyone in the community of Newtown, Conn. for doing their absolute best to protect the children and each other against this monster.  I hope that you'll pray with me for them in their great time of sorrow.
