NBC’s new musical drama ‘Smash’ premiered on Monday night, taking in the story of what it takes to make it in a Broadway musical. Next Monday, on the second episode of the show, actress Megan Hilty (from ‘Wicked’) will perform a Broadway-style rendition of Carrie Underwood‘s ‘Crazy Dreams,’ according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Reba McEntire’s First Televised Concert in 15 Years to Air in March
On March 17, Reba McEntire will release her first televised concert special in more than 15 years. The 90-minute special, ‘All the Women I Am,’ will premiere on GAC. Encompassing the energy of McEntire’s live show, much of the footage for the TV special will come from her recent concert at Louisiana’s Cajun Dome, where the longtime performer had a film crew come along with her and roll tape.

After news of Randy Travis‘ 1:30AM arrest on a charge of suspicion of public intoxication circulated this morning, Travis came out with a public apology for his actions. Travis was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Monday morning in Sanger, Texas because police noticed his odd behavior and arrested him on a charge of suspicion of public intoxication.

Last Saturday night (Jan. 28), Vanessa Pritt from Charleston, W.V. was enjoying a Brad Paisley concert in Las Vegas with her boyfriend, Jason Davis, when Paisley reportedly handed Davis the mic in the middle of a song. Getting down on one knee, Davis asked Pritt to be his wife. Paisley, meanwhile, recorded the whole proposal from the stage on his iPhone.
