After spending three full weeks on vocal rest to recover from surgery to remove a polyp from his vocal cord, Keith Urban is back and ready to take the stage (and the mic) again. In retrospect, he says 21 days of complete silence proved to be quite the challenge — both physically and emotionally — as he tried to recover and also not slip up and speak.

Garth Brooks to Appear in Court Again Today
Garth Brooks has seen more than his share of ups and downs during the past week. Last Tuesday (Jan. 17) he appeared in a Rogers County, Okla. court to put to rest a dispute that has been running for more than 10 years. After about seven hours testifying on Friday (Jan. 20), Brooks is expected to appear in court for a third time today, this time to make his final plea. This all came during the same week he was proclaimed the best-selling artist of the Soundscan era.
Dolly Parton to Help Launch New Water, Snow Park in Nashville
Two of Nashville’s biggest entertainment moguls announced last week that they will be partnering for a new 114-acre family entertainment zone in Nashville. Dolly Parton‘s Dollywood Company is embarking on this new project with Gaylord Entertainment, the company that owns the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, as well as the Ryman Auditorium, Wildhorse Saloon, WSM-AM and more of Nashville’s main attractions.
