Many would argue that Carrie Underwood is the most successful singer to ever be on American Idol. It looks like Forbes magazine just made it official.
According to a ranking published by Forbes on Thursday, July 21, Carrie Underwood earned an estimated $20 million between May 2010 and May 2011. The pretax sum makes Underwood the top earner among all of the show's former contestants.

Tim McGraw might have to take it easy during his shows for awhile. The singer recently broke his foot while on tour this summer.
"I don't know if it happened running or in the part of the show where I jump off speakers," McGraw told CMT Offstage last weekend. "It could've happened any number of ways. It hurt for a while, and I kept running and kept working out and kept doing shows. And for a couple weeks, it just kept getting worse and worse, and it finally got to where I couldn't walk, and it was really swollen."

If the size of this crocodile is any indication, these tourists are going to need a bigger boat. An 18-foot, 2-ton monster crocodile was photographed leaping from the water near a tour boat in Australia, 'The Early Show' reported.
The croc is known locally as Brutus and was enticed by a tour guide offering kangaroo meat on a pole. The reptile is a star attraction among river tours that run through the Adelaide River.
