They might not be as prestigious as the Grammys or the Oscars, but the Teen Choice Awards are a lot more fun — and they’ve just announced their nominees for this year’s ceremony.
Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift lead the pack, with five and six nominations, respectively. Other stars boasting multiple nods — drawn across the pop culture spectrum, including movies, music, television, fashion, and sports — are Justin Bieber, Adele, Lady Gaga, and Eminem.

On his recently released new album, ‘Alpocalypse,’ Yankovic spoofed Swift’s ‘You Belong With Me,’ renaming it ‘TMZ’ and subbing in paparazzi-tweaking lyrics like “You’re sorta famous, a minor celebrity / And so it only makes sense the world would be / Obsessed with every single thing you do … If they ever catch you picking your nose / Or stumbling the street on a drunken spree / You’re on TMZ.”

Martina McBride’s Fans Forced To Wait — New Album Delayed Until October
It’s been over two years since Martina McBride has delivered a full-length album of new material — and the wait just got a little longer for her fans.
McBride’s upcoming release, which will be her eleventh studio set, was scheduled for August, but Universal Republic has pushed it back a few weeks — to October 18, to be exact. She addressed the change in a recent blog post, calling it “a decision the record company made in order to give us the best opportunity for a great first week in sales, which so many people pay attention to in the industry.”

That’s just what happened to Blake Shelton last Saturday, when he celebrated his 35th birthday by opening for Brad Paisley — and was surprised during his set by the appearance of Mrs. Shelton, a.k.a. country star Miranda Lambert, who took the stage for a rendition of Joan Jett’s ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll’ before asking the crowd “to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to my husband.”
