I was born in the southern U.S. and raised by a 21 year Marine Corps Vietnam Vet and his hard working, successful, Tennessee born bride. They set the bar pretty high for their three kids...so I decided to just walk under it and go into radio at age 16. After years of "town to town, up and down the dial", I made my way to Billings in 2005. That turned out to be the best decision I ever made. It lead to a great job, and the love of my life, my daughter, Eliana. I'm happy to be raising her in a place with a great mix of conservative family values and progressive ideas about inclusion and embracing the differences in people (provided they are not too liberal or from California).
Enjoy Your Last Day Of Summer Billings
However you are spending today, I hope there is some sunshine involved. Today is a pretty perfect day for a summer time send off. Fall officially hits at 7:54 p.m. Just a few hours left. Make them count!
The Real Reason i-185 Treats Vaping Like Smoking [Opinion]

Time To Get Moving
I think anyone who has a job that involves mostly sitting needs to make a plan to work in some exercise each day.
Favorite Montana Brew?
I don't drink a lot of beer these days, but when I do I like to sample the local stuff. This Mountain Main Scotch Ale had been recommended to me a few times so I picked some up last night. I wish I was beer smart enough to give you some great, thirst inducing description, but I can only say t…
I Wish Police Scanners Still Worked
Last night, around 1:30 a.m. I started hearing police sirens. The cars just seemed to keep coming. It got me curious enough that I actually opened up my police scanner app on my phone to see what I could hear. Not much though as you can't listen to Billings police anymore. There is a Yellow…

I found out today that I'll get to interview WWE superstar Bobby Lashley on Monday! Even if you're not a WWE die hard, there is no denying the athleticism of Bobby Lashley. This guy holds some major titles on his resume` and is allegedly a very nice guy.
My East Coast Family
I want to get this post out before the inevitable politicization begins. How ever the aftermath of a disaster is handled, the conversation will quickly shift from the talks of the victims to political complaints. I will do my best to keep my thoughts and concerns on the victims and their situation…
I Thought These Were Stupid – Now I Keep Buying Them
When I first heard about these Phillips Hue lights, I thought, "Who in the world needs those? Why would you want colored light in your house? Do we need our phones for yet another thing? Are people too lazy to use a light switch now?" I thought those things, but a year later I own more…
The Single Dad’s Dreaded Day
When the day comes, if it should happen to be on one of the days where she is staying with me, I guess I'll take the Al Bundy approach and just tell her to "Walk it off."
Childhood Foods You Still Eat
Unless you have a hatred of tomatoes or an imaginary gluten intolerance, you might enjoy this childhood favorite of mine. My guess is that it was born on one of those nights where someone didn't want to go to the store and just whipped up a few things from the pantry. Here is how to make it p…
