I moved to Montana in 1979 from Cincinnati, Ohio. I started doing play-by-play in 1982 in Billings. I began working at my current job in December 1985 and have never left. I have been on Cat Country mornings since the show started in March 1988. In addition to my on-air job, I own and operate a wheat and cattle ranch north of Billings. I am most proud of my four children.
My Favorite Kind of Blizzard
My two favorite blizzards are Butterfinger, and the one we had this weekend. I love it when we expect the worse and then wake up to find that it missed us. For most of us the Summer and Fall went to fast. We are still 2 plus weeks away from Winter so Mother nature owes us some good weather yet...
There have been numerous upsets in sports before; Remember the 1982 U.S. hockey team or Jim Valvano's remarkable win during the NCAA tourney? So for you Bobcat fans, like me, you have a chance. Look how much of a chance Trump had of becoming President...
Parallel Parking Is A Lost Art
I think Mark and I are the only ones who still parallel park. If you ever watch people downtown they all try to pull in rather than back up.
We could get dumped on this weekend so get ready now. Some areas could get a foot of snow so that gives you about two days. I know 131 people who are looking forward to Jan.18th but until then, here it comes.
Paul’s Recipe To Keep Your Christmas Tree Fresh
Use this recipe to keep your Christmas tree fresh.
Don't forget that Zimmerman trail will be closed tomorrow, 11/27 between 9am and 4pm. A little painting then we should be good for a while. I think we should put a cuss jar at the top and bottom tomorrow.

If mom is slaving away in the kitchen all day preparing a feast for kings, the least you could do for her are the dishes. That's a must at our house, and its worth it. The food is awesome and it's the worst dish day of the year. Give her a break, she deserves it; Happy Thanksgiving and we&…
No Discount Yet
Even in Orlando Florida; during a holiday; near Disney World; gas is 2.14 - 2.20 a gallon. The question is who can we talk to to find out why ours is not falling? No one seems to know who the person is that sets the price. If you know, let us know and maybe we can then get some reasons as …

We had a request this morning for We Are Family, when you make a donation to Flakesgiving you get a song. But it really fits. We are about half way to our goal and couldn't do without you. Lets hope for a good day Thursday and Friday. Keep it coming and THANK YOU...
