The US Embassy Seoul announced filming on ‘Avengers 2′ will begin in the capital on March 30, but before that even begins, Whedon wanted to apologize to Seoul citizens for disrupting their comings and goings, presumably with some major explosions.
“We are going to mess it up a bit and inconvenience some people for a few days, and I apologize for that,” he said.
So far, we’ve spotted the Marvel team filming scenes in Johannesburg, South Africa, where they began work on an epic battle to come between Hulk and Iron Man’s Hulkbuster armor, as well as in the previously mentioned Aosta, Italy, where newcomers Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson (playing twin superheroes Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver) were spotted filming an action scene alongside Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and a pre-CGI Ultron.
‘The Avengers 2′ (officially titled ‘The Avengers: Age of Ultron’) also stars James Spader as the voice of the evil sentient robot Ultron, Paul Bettany (previously just the voice of Tony Stark’s AI, JARVIS) as Vision, Thomas Kretschmann as villain Baron von Strucker, and the returning Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury).
The film will bow in theaters on May 1, 2015.
