Batten Down The Hatches, She’s A Teenager

To steal a line from the singer Martina McBride, we're just mothers with teenage daughters.  Today is my baby girl's13th Birthday, she would be mortified if she knew I was using some of these photos.

But if you will remember she told me last week I should write about her, because after all she is interesting.

I can't believe she is officially a teenager today.

My mom always says enjoy them now because they grow up so fast.

She is right, I love who this little girl is becoming.

It does seem like a few days ago she took her first steps and learned how to say mommy for the first time.

Now she's strong and independent and thinks shes 23!
