Big Sky State Games 2014 is This Weekend!
This weekend begins the 29th Big Sky State Games all over venues in Billings.The population of Billings will increase by 10,000 with the annual sporting event. 4,000 will be from outside of Yellowstone County.
Another 4,500 spectators will invade Billings and Laurel as the 69th East-West Shrine Football game takes place as well at the Laurel Sports Complex. According to the Billings Chamber of Commerce,

The opening ceremonies will be held tonight, July 18th at Wendy’s-Daylis stadium. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. There will be cash give a ways, a BBQ, the new “Soaked” run for fun and then the parade of athletes! The State Games softball event begins tonight as well at Stewart Park.
Over 40 sports will be represented this weekend.
