It's time once again for the Big Sky State Games!  The opening ceremonies start this afternoon (Friday, July 20, 2018) at 5:30 p.m. at Daylis Stadium.

There are enough events in these games that you can likely find something that interests you to either watch or participate in.  Many of the events are closed, but there are several on-site registrations available for many sports.  Get the latest list of the events, including the locations, by clicking here.

If all of this is new to you, the Big Sky State Games happen all over the state including several locations here in Billings.  Plenty events happening outdoors for those who want to watch some excitement and soak up some sun, and there are plenty of indoor events happening in nice, air conditioned venues as well.

I love events like this because you get to see many of our "Average Joe's" showing off their skills.  There are so many competitors, there's a pretty good chance that someone you know is taking part, so get out there and cheer them on.  My kid enjoys playing ping pong, so we'll at least try to catch that event at Rimrock Mall, but hopefully make it out to at least a couple others over the next two weekends.
