Billings Baconfest Preview

If you're going to Billings Baconfest Saturday, here's everything you need to know:

-The event begins at 11 am the Holiday Inn MT Convention Center on 5500 Midland Rd.

-Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door, Children 12 and under are free.  You can pay with cash or use your ATM/Credit card.

-If you purchased tickets online, bring your voucher or receipt with you.  We will have your name on a list if you forget it.

-Your ticket includes one sample from all 14 restaurant, food truck and meat market vendors.  We will give you a sample card at the door.  Hold on to it, you will need to present that card to each vendor. Make sure to visit the Townsquare Media booth for bacon taffy and temporary bacon tattoos.

-The backside of your sample card will also include a ballot to vote for your favorite dishes.  We will hand out Best of Baconfest Awards to the most popular breakfast item, dessert item, sandwich or burger, most original and the Best in Bacon.

-Bring a can or non-perishable food item and get there early.  The first 500 people to donate to Billings Food Bank will receive a Baconfest t-shirt (they will also take cash donations and turkeys).

-Live music begins at 11:30 am with Cale Moon.  Downtown will take the stage around 1 pm.

-A variety of beverages will be available for purchase, including soft drinks, beer, and mixed drinks.

-The party goes until 3 pm. Only 1,200 tickets for this event will be sold.  There is a possibility the event will sell out.

-Some of our restaurant vendors will also have additional items for purchase.  Please support them. They are each providing over 1,000 samples.  We will also have several community organizations on hand to promote their upcoming charitable events. The Montana Pork Producers will be taking free pictures of Baconfest patrons in front of their giant "Wall of Bacon"
