Dog Lovers of Billings are being called upon to help out an emergency situation at the High Sierra Dog Park and are looking for some volunteers for a project on June 5th.

Marcia Clausing, the Co-Chair of Friends of Billings Dog Parks tells me that a project to install water fountains at the High Sierra Dog Park is in need of 10-15 volunteers to help with the installation.

The scheduled time for the install is between 9a and 3:30p. Not the ideal time for most of us working, but she hopes some people will come forward and lend a hand.

The fountains to be installed are ones that were purchased at the end of last summer with money donated by the dog lovers of Billings. Clausing wants to show people what their donations look like and hopes that a delay won’t happen.

The Parks and Rec staff would like to get a head count on who will be joining their crew on the 5th. Deadline for volunteering is Wednesday night. For more information on how you can help with the dog park, you can contact Marcia via phone at 672-9347 or she says an email will work too.
