U.S. Sen. Steve Daines announced Friday that Billings Logan International Airport will get some much-needed financial help.

A $2 million grant from The Department Of Transportation will help turn plans for a new drainage system into a reality. As recent flooding events have proven, this drainage system is vital to the continued safe operation of Billings Logan International Airport. The funds will also be used to address other needed infrastructure changes at the airport.

"Billings Logan Airport provides critical transportation services to thousands of Montanans every year. This grant will go a long way in helping to strengthen and secure the airport’s infrastructure, while also protecting local businesses and neighborhoods. This grant will ensure the Billings airport is able to safely and efficiently serve the region’s air transportation needs for years to come.” - Senator Steve Daines
