Billings Mother and Daughter in Jail For Beating a Woman With a Hammer
The 400 block of Kuhlman Drive in Billings was the scene of a brutal beating of a woman by a mother and daughter team using a hammer and brass knuckles!
Yes, I said the woman in the home was beaten with a hammer!
Cheri Schiedel, 31 and her mother Kimberly Paulk, 54 each face one count of felony aggravated burglary. The crime happened on Friday, January 17th. Billings Police responded to the call at the residence and found the house ransacked and the woman who lived there said she was beaten by the two women.
Later in the day an officer visited the injured woman in the hospital and found round shaped wounds on her head. In talking with the assault victim, she stated to police,
she had been hit at least four times with a hammer and possibly brass knuckles.
Judge David A. Carter set Schiedel’s bond at $15,000 and Paulk’s bond at $20,000. Arraignment for the two is set for January, 28th. If convicted they each face up to 40 years in state prison. Fines could be levied at $50,000 each as well.
