Billings Teacher Making a Bid For The Lone U.S. House Seat for Montana
It is refreshing to see the interest in the one U.S. House Seat for Montana gain some competitive momentum. The latest news released over the weekend was that former Billings teacher, Elsie Arntzen was making a run for the open U.S. House seat as the only female candidate running in November of 2014.
There are now six candidates vying for the open chair. There are five Republicans and one Democrat running. Arntzen is a former 5th grade teacher in Billings. She spoke recently at Burlington Elementary School and said,
When you teach 10 year olds, it’s all about giving them that positive idea that they can be successful.
Arntzen’s return to politics is because she says,
Washington is broken!
Elsie Arntzen would like to help reduce the nation’s debt, repeal Obamacare and promote economic growth in Montana.
