Woman and Her Kids Shot At Near Rocky Mountain College
It was a scary time for a woman driving in Billings with her two young kids over the lunch hour today, July 15th.A man, who has not been apprehended as of this posting shot at a mother and her 6 and 7 year old kids as they were driving near Rocky Mountain College.
The family was driving down Rimrock Road near Virginia Lane and an unknown man was following their Chevrolet Suburban and started shooting at them. According to Billings Police there were at least four bullet holes in the Suburban.
No injuries were reported. The suspect continued to follow them and rammed them twice during the incident as they headed east. The woman was able to stop and pull over to call law enforcement.
Police Lt. Mark Cady said that none of the occupants of the Suburban were struck by the bullets.
The vehicle is described as a older model maroon in color Buick with a damaged front end. The suspect is described as white, male, in his 20′s. The woman stated that the suspect did not look familiar to her.
