Brantley Gilbert’s Harley Ride to Promote New Album, Folds of Honor
Brantley Gilbert knows how to add some of his own personality to promotions for his new music. The ‘Bottoms Up’ singer is riding a Harley to help him with ‘Just As I Am,’ which drops on May 19. The ride will stretch from Georgia to Virginia and he’ll be joined by Harley-Davidson and the Folds of Honor Foundation, a military charity.
Gilbert is a fan of motorcycles and especially loves his Harleys, so the two are quite a happy couple for the promotion. “As a long-time Harley-Davidson rider and enthusiast, I am beyond excited to have their support to ensure this ride is a success,” Gilbert said in a release.
The Folds of Honor Foundation strives to help families whose family members have been disabled or killed during active duty. The foundation joined Gilbert and asked BG Nation to submit names of their family members who lost their lives in the fight for freedom. The names have been added to a tour bus that will follow Gilbert along his rides.
The motorcycle ride will kick off on May 21, just a few days after his album drops, in Athens, Ga. The town isn’t far from where Gilbert grew up, so it’s only right that’s where his journey begins. His ride ends on May 26 at the Arlington National Cemetery Ceremony in Washington, D.C.
