Carrie Underwood is back on stage at the CMT Music Awards following a (maternity) leave from the spotlight, looking beautiful and grabbing awards after the birth of her son Isaiah. Underwood snagged an early win for Collaborative Video, followed later by Female Video for the Year.

The star accepted the Collaborative Video award on behalf of herself and partner-in-crime Miranda Lambert for their duet "Somethin’ Bad," which was the first No. 1 hit by two women on the Billboard Hot Country charts in more than 20 years. The video features the superstars as tag-teaming jewel thieves mid-heist.

Underwood also nabbed the coveted Female Video of the Year award for "Something in the Water," a personal song about a journey of faith. The artist, who also co-wrote the song, accepted the award graciously, saying the song and video are both very special to her.

“This is my first award show since little Isaiah has been in the world,” she told the crowd. “He has already inspired me so much."

Her genuine emotion and sincere appreciation was evident in her speech — unable to contain her excitement, she even let out a squeal before she walked off stage! "Something in the Water" was also nominated for Video of the Year.
