Cassadee Pope showed off the many reasons why she was the Season 3 winner of 'The Voice' with a stunning return to the show Tuesday night (June 4). Her strong vocals and confident stage presence were spot-on as she revealed the first single from her forthcoming fall record.

Dressed in a sparkly silver dress, Pope sang 'Wasting All These Tears' with conviction and emotion. Her former coach on 'The Voice,' superstar Blake Shelton, was singing along and appeared to be very proud of the 23-year-old he helped shape.

Pope showed much excitement about her performance on 'The Voice,' as it was her first time back on that stage, and if she had any nerves, they were only slightly apparent during the first few lines. But when she had to bust out the powerhouse vocals, she hit them effortlessly. Toward the end of the song, the flowing curtains hanging up behind her fell in a dramatic heap as she belted out the last little bit, fog rising up around her.

She wasn't the only one excited about her new single -- fans gave their stamp of approval, sending the track to No. 1 on the iTunes country chart and into the Top 10 of the iTunes singles chart, according to York Dispatch.

Pope has many exciting things on her plate, thanks to her success on the reality singing competition. She's currently opening for Rascal Flatts on their Live & Loud Tour, and will also hit the small screen by starring in a new reality show project on CMT.

Though her career continues to rise, she'll always remember where it all began.
