Townsquare Media and Cat Country 102.9 would like to take this moment to sincerely apologize to anyone who was subjected to Mark Wilson's attempt at singing this morning. We realize that Mark's high pitched squeals may have been offensive to some members of the listening audience.  As music lovers ourselves, we were both shocked and ashamed by the content that was broadcast.

We are deeply sorry for any physical or emotional harm that Mark's singing may have caused, especially among children and the elderly.  We realize that we have an obligation to protect the public from this programming.  Therefore, we have officially reprimanded Mark for his feeble attempt at vocal harmony and we have strongly encouraged him to never sing on the air again.

In the coming days, as we take further steps to resolve these issues and make amends for the damage Mark has caused, you will hear more about our new policies regarding DJ's singing on the radio.
