Cat Country Nominated for Academy Of Country Music Award

A trophy like the one Carrie Underwood holds could be coming to Billings in April. Cat Country has been nominated as one of the best country music radio stations in America by the Academy. Judging for the award is based on community involvement, ratings, leadership in country music, and the overall sound of the station.

The award is only given once per year.  2011 is the 46th Academy Of Country Music Awards which will broadcast in Billings on Q2 April 3.  No Montana station has ever won the ACM Award.
