Country legend Loretta Lynn is coming to Billings this fall!  She is scheduled to perform at the Alberta Bair Theatre on Tuesday, October 30 at 7:30p.m with special guest Chuck Mead!   Tickets are $76 for premiere seating, $61 for main floor and loge and and $46 for the balcony.  Tickets went on sale this morning and there are still some premiere seats left!

Crayons For Kids

As we talked about last week, our friend, Livin' Large Larry is holding his 3rd annual Crayons for Kids campaign.  His goal is a thousand boxes of 24 count crayons by August 30th.

"The 1,000 boxes of crayons for the K-Bear Morning Show’s 3rd annual Crayons For Kids is once again successful because of your contributions!  In the last two days we have had over 200 boxes dropped off to our K-Bear studio!We are now well on our way to the 1,000 plus boxes!  During the first two weeks of September I will be loading the K-Bear van with the crayons and delivering them to Billings area elementary schools and pre-schools too

Fast Moving Lockwood Fire Crosses Highway 87 [AUDIO]

At about 3 p.m. on August 20 the wild fire in Lockwood grew from 80 acres to about 1,500 acres by sunset!

The Gazette reports:

The fire started between Lockwood and Pryor Creek about six miles east of Lockwood off U.S. Highway 87 East, on the Crow Reservation.

As of this writing there is zero containment to the blaze that crossed highway 87 early in the fire fight!
