First of all, thank you for contributing to our radiothon to help St. Vicent's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. We raised $99,210 and donations are still coming in.
Our community has once again showed its tremendous generosity, as the Country Cares for St. Jude Kids RadioThon wrapped up it's two day fundraiser on Cat Country 102.9 to fight childhood cancer.
Cat Country 102.9 is partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® for the #StJudeWontStop campaign and we're asking you to be partners in hope.
Beginning tomorrow (Thursday 12/3) through this Saturday (12/5), you can see the Festival of Trees at Rimrock Mall, inside the former Herbergers location.
We had great weather on both days. And because we did the event as a drive-through this year, I got to see a lot of kids in car seats. Although I've always enjoyed this event, seeing so many kids whose families were getting meals made me happy.
Flakesgiving is held annually by Cat Country 102.9's Mark Wilson and Paul Mushaben, and is a giveaway of 1500 meal boxes that will begin at 12noon tomorrow (Saturday 11/21) at MetraPark.
I usually try to thank everybody involved in Flakesgiving after the event has concluded. But this year, I'm saying thank you early. But I don't know all the names of everybody to thank.
We've got a featured Wet Nose this week that comes to the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter by way of Rez Dog Rescue. Her name is Marley, and she's a 2-year old Labrador mix who is waiting for you at the Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter.
