Country music stars are taking ‘The Bachelorette’ by storm! On this week’s episode of the show, Dolly Parton lends her theme park, Dollywood, to the bachelorette and her date. The country star even makes an appearance in the episode, which will also include Luke Bryan.

If there was any doubt Luke Bryan would be pulling for his hometown hopeful Phillip Phillips to win this season of ‘American Idol,’ a recent video posted on his official Twitter account dismisses any suspicion. According to Bryan, his fellow Leesburg, Ga. native is the clear frontrunner as supreme winner during this week’s season finale.
Carrie Underwood is dominating the landscape right now, especially in the mainstream media. The ‘Blown Away’ singer, whose new album of the same name topped the Billboard chart for two weeks in a row, will be featured in the forthcoming 20th anniversary ‘Dateline’ special, which airs tonight (May 22) at 10PM ET on NBC. Toss back those red solo cups, as Toby Keith has signed on to host the 2012 CMT Music Awards, which will air Wednesday, June 6 at 8PM ET on CMT and at CMT.com. The country superstar will be joined by actress Kristen Bell, who will co-host alongside him. We’re beyond excited to see how well Keith and Bell play off one another.

It hasn’t been long since Season 2 of ‘The Voice‘ ended, with Team Blake Shelton member Jermaine Paul taking home the crown. But already, NBC is making plans for the next season of the hit singing competition, and network chief Bob Greenblatt has announced that the show will now air twice a year.
