Check Out This Classic Montana Highway Patrol Car

As I've mentioned before Cat Country 102.9 is located at the top of the Crowne Plaza in downtown Billings. Because it's right in the center of town near a bunch of amenities the lions share of the convention traffic comes right to this hotel. Today there is a meeting of Montana Law Enforcement here at the Crowne Plaza and they brought the classic highway patrol cruiser you see in the picture above.

It's a 1954 Ford Cruiserline with overdrive that was collecting dust in Big Timber until an officer found it and started proudly displaying it at events like these. It's all original except it's missing the police lights on top. The officer I met who takes care of it says they're hoping to add those back to it soon. It even has the original Montana Highway Patrol crest on the doors you see in the photo below.
