Child Prodigy Coming To Billings

Jaden Carlson is just 12 years old but has been the lead guitarist in her band since she was 8. She was supposed to play at a benefit show in Denver (she's from Boulder) when the rest of her band failed to show up. A Led Zeppelin tribute band who was to play on the same bill loaned her an amp so she could perform. They hit if off and have been performing together ever since. Thursday May 2nd they return to Bones Brewing where they've performed in the past.

Jaden and her band perform half cover tunes from Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, Sam Cooke and other and the rest of their songs are her originals which she describes as singer-songwriter stuff. I for one can't wait to see her wail out Kashmir or The Ocean on her axe.
