CMT Awards Show Date Is Set!

In my humble opinion, this is the best award show out there! Because it is  fan-voted, it is not judged by any group of people or the industry which might have ulterior motives behind their votes. Here WE get to pick the winners! The CMT Awards is scheduled for Wednesday, June 8 in Nashville.

Although the venue, nominees, hosts, performers, and ticket information have yet to be announced, the show is always packed with some of country’s biggest stars.

This morning, CMT tweeted their Top 5 Artists of the Week. The list consisted of Trace Adkins, the Band Perry,Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Thompson Square. Perhaps this will give some insight into which artists may be nominated for the summertime awards show.
