Controversy Over Gifford’s’ Husband Holding a Rifle

This morning on the Breakfast Flakes

In an effort to show just how easy it is to get a military style assault rifle, Mark Kelly husband of Gabby Giffords took the step of posting a picture of himself buying one.

4,000 comments later gun rights advocates are accusing him of being a hypocrite for buying both a rifle and a handgun.  Both Kelly and Giffords are touring the country in support of expanded background checks when purchasing weapons.  Giffords continues to recover from her injuries, she resigned last year.
