D-Day

Not much will be mentioned today about the greatest display of military bravery and courage we have ever witnessed.  It was June 6th, 1944 when our campaign to liberate Europe started with the Normandy invasion.  Never had so many men, ships, planes and equipment been deployed in a military conflict.

The guts, courage, bravery and dedication to country was never more evident than on that day.  If I ever would go to Europe, that is the place I would go to thank all of those men who unselfishly perished for me.  I will never forget those men nor this day.
