Dino-Mite Ways To Advertise Your Business!
As I was driving home last night, I passed this business on 1st Avenue North. I spotted this Dinosaur (picture above) and thought to myself, what the heck is that for.
I looked over and say the sign Dino Lab.
Now at first I thought oh they must do some sort of diagnostics, but with further research today I found that they are an actual Dinosaur Lab and are part of the Judith River Dinosaur Institute.
This made me really ponder something.
What’s in a name?
Will people know what your business is just by hearing you business name or slogan?
How do you “brand” your business?
Is there a catchy jingle or funny logo or just a cool tag line that stands out.
For example if I said the golden arches, most of us would know what I’m talking about.
What if I said get into the zone, would we know?
How about we’ll leave the light on?
Most people would know exactly what business I’m talking about.
Have you ever run across a business that has a name that really has nothing to do with what their goods or services are?
For example, Ziggy’s, would you know that it is a building materials store?
How about S Bar S, would you know what they do if you had never shopped there before?
Would you know they are a farm and ranch supplier?
Does a name really say it all?
What weird or odd businesses have you seen where the name really isn’t what you think it is?
