“Established” Country Artists VS “The Up And Coming” Country Artists – Paul’s Polls
The debate is as old as Music itself. Every genre of music has two different camps. In one corner you’ve got the established groups who’ve been through it all and usually have come up in a different time period. Then you’ve got the up and coming groups in the same genre, young and naive, ready to take on the world. But often times they don’t always see eye to eye, nor do their fans.
It feels like the Country music scene has seen a large influx of new musicians. Performers like Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, The Band Perry, Carrie Underwood, and for some reason Kelly Clarkson is now a Country Music Artist?
These artists are coming up in a different scene than most of the most established groups. For artists like Tim McGraw, George Straight and Kenny Chesney, the industry itself has changed and so has the Country Music fan base.
