High Plains Women’s Museum is celebrating their 7 year Anniversary.  Join us on apr8il 24 at the Valley Federal Credit Union Building, 3 pm to 5:30 pm for cake, refreshments and unique programs.  Women in vintage clothing will share interesting and fun stories related to the various displays in the Museum, depicting the diversity of women, past and present.  Tours of the museum will be given and Lorraine Marsh, “the Hat Lady” will be on hand to discuss her exhibit of “Spring Flowers and Summer Straws.”  Lorraine’s collection of more than 1400 hats in the foundation for an ongoing Museum feature, changing by seasons and themes.  In addition, visitors are welcome to discover the Museum’s “Oral Histories Project” which focuses on capturing the life stories of every day women in Montana.  High Plains Women’s Museum was founded in 2007 with the mission of discovering, displaying and educating the public about the diversity of women in the high plains area o9f Montana.  For more information about this event or High Plains Women’s Museum, please contact Eileen Morris, Board Chair at 861-4602
