A Lamborghini Visit to Billings, Montana
20 – 23 June, 2013
Members of the Vintage Lamborghini Garage are converging on Billings, Montana for the first-of- a-kind driving event to the great Northwest. This is truly historic and represents the largest assembly of vintage Lamborghinis ever gathered for a single event. It is a driving event, with participants coming from all parts of the U.S. and Canada. You and you car will be in the company of everything from the 350GT all the way to the Diablo – 30 years of Lamborghini. Our goal is to have at least one of every early Lamborghini represented for this event and it appears that goal will be achieved!
***Special Update: Famed Lamborghini test driver and current Goodwill Ambassador Valentino Balboni will be in attendance for this special gathering. If a guy that the Italians named a highway after is coming, why not you?***
The following is a schedule of events for our four day stay in beautiful Billings.
Thursday, 20 June – Afternoon
Arrive in Billings – Check in at the Holiday Inn Grand Hotel. We will park our cars in the area between the Grand Montana Ballroom and the Atrium Tower. There are about 50 spaces for our cars. We anticipate a visit by local TV and newspaper personnel as well as some of Jack's personal friends for some afternoon socializing.
Enjoy a robust, catered dinner at the Hotel at about 6:45pm – relax, kick off the road dust.
Friday, 21 June – Morning

Participate in the Little Big Horn Day Parade. After the parade concludes, we will park our cars on Center Avenue between Third and Fourth Street in a roped-off the area. Security will be provided by Hardin town officials.
We will board a complementary bus for drive out to Crow Agency to view the re-enactment of Custer's Last Stand. This is a major spectacle, complete with local tribes in full battle gear and a group of volunteers representing General Custer's cavalry troops. The bus will return us to Hardin following the event at Crow Agency. At this point, our group will have some time to check out the town center and grab come lunch at a local cafe. We expect to drive back to Billings around 2:00 to 2:30 P.M.
Our return to Billings will use historic Route 87 – very scenic, fun drive!

After returning from Hardin, we will relax and get refreshed at the hotel until about 6:30. Dinner at the loft in the beautiful Granary restaurant.
Saturday, 22 June – Morning
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart at about 9:30 A.M. for the town of Pryor, about one hour's drive south of Billings. Our destination is the Chief Plenty Coups Museum and State Park. A tribal official will explain the history of Chief Plenty Coups and how his home became a national monument and state park. Kaneeta is the sister of famous Indian artist, Kevin Red Star (see below).
Lunch will be served at 11:30 A.M. from a barbecue chuck wagon provided at the picnic area by Tiny's Tavern of Billings. Fresh off the grill burgers, brats, and chicken with potato salad and baked beans; soft drinks, all condiments. A quintessential picnic lunch!
