Flakesgiving 2014 — If You Are Able to Donate, Click Here

This Saturday, the Breakfast Flakes will assemble, distribute and deliver 1,500 complete Thanksgiving meals.  Each meal will feed a family of 7 - 10 and includes turkey, potatoes, bread, stuffing and vegetables.  We've got a big grocery bill to pay and here's how you can help.

The cost of one complete meal is $25.50.  That works out to just over $38,000 we need to raise. Unlike some charities, Flakesgiving has very low overhead. Aside from paying our taxes and an accountant to keep the books, every single penny goes to feed hungry families. Mark and Paul don’t take a dime and they never will. Over the years, Flakesgiving has become the largest event of its kind in the state of Montana.

If you'd like to donate one meal, call up Mark and Paul this week and make a pledge.  The Flakes will be happy to play any song that you want to hear and will recognize you on the air. The Cat Country studio line is 248-5665.  Mark and Paul are on the air from 5 am to 10 am.  After 10 am, call our office and make a pledge at 248-7827.   Or, just send your donation in the mail to Flakesgiving Fund, PO Box 1276, Billings, MT 59103.

In the past, we've had several businesses collect donations from their employees.  We've also had people and business challenge each other to donate a certain amount of money. We welcome any donation you can afford to give and we encourage you to invite your friends, co-workers and family members to match your contribution.  Thanks again for helping us feed thousands of families for the past 20+ years.
