Even if you can't afford to donate money to the Flakesgiving fund, you can still help us feed thousands of families this weekend.  We can always use volunteers to assemble the meals on Friday and to distribute and deliver them on Saturday.

If you have the time, just show up at Metra Park either day around 10 am.  On Friday, we will assemble the meals in boxes for distribution the following day. Every year on Friday, we get lots of help from local high school clubs, many of whom make a donation to get the day off from school.  Thankfully, those kids have a lot more energy that us old folks do and we are lucky to have them.

If you only have time to volunteer one day, we'll need more help on Saturday.  Just show up and we will find something for you to do.  We will also need drivers to deliver 400 meals to needy families all over Yellowstone County who cannot be present for the distribution.

Some of our volunteers have been helping us assemble and distribute meals for over 20 years.  They've got it down to a science.  It's a large, well organized and impressive operation.  If you've never been part of this event, we encourage you to come pitch in.

And, again, thanks so much to everyone who has generously donated their time and manpower over the years to help make Flakesgiving the biggest event of its kind in Montana. We couldn't do it without you and we are hoping that this year's event will be bigger and better than ever. It looks like we're going to have some decent weather this year too.
