We've been waiting for a worthy successor to 'Fringe' for months now, but is J.J. Abrams' futuristic cop drama 'Almost Human' up to the task? A full eight minutes from the pilot episode have been made available to viewers, following the earlier delay of the premiere, so find out for yourself if the new robot cop drama from the minds behind 'Fringe' and starring 'Star Trek''s Karl Urban is worth a look!

Premiering in its entirety on Sunday, November 17, 'Almost Human''s first sneak peek of the premiere sees Detective John Kennex (Urban) paired with his first "synthetic" partner after returning to the force, only for the friction between the pair to literally and figuratively leave the relationship by the roadside. Enter tinkerer Rudy Lorn ('Game of Thrones' star Mackenzie Crook) to set John up with his new partner Dorian (Michael Ealy), a retired model known for its emotional instability.

Developed by ‘Fringe‘ team J.H. Wyman, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk, ‘Almost Human’ follows Kennex, a respected police officer who has shut down emotionally following a disastrous mission that killed nine fellow officers and left him critically injured. The cast also includes Lili Taylor as John's police captain, Minka Kelly, and Michael Irby.

See for yourself up above if 'Almost Human' could become FOX's next cult sci-fi hit, and tell us in the comments if you'll tune in for the full November 17 premiere!
