It has been 23 years since Garth Brooks has performed in Des Moines, Iowa, but in April, he will make his grand return on the Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood. It will mark the first time the icon has played Des Moines in over two decades.

Brooks' concert will be held on April 30 at 7PM at Wells Fargo Arena. It's his first and only stop in Iowa thus far this tour. Tickets will go on sale March 11 at 10AM CT via IowaEventsCenter.com/Garth. Tickets for the show cost $74.98 and there is an eight-ticket limit per purchase.

The singer's world tour is selling out in record numbers, prompting Brooks to add dates to numerous cities. More recently, he extended his stay in Columbus to a total of six shows due to the high demand for tickets.

On March 4, Brooks and wife Yearwood will appear in the documentary Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl on PBS. The film focuses on Lynn's musical journey and Brooks and Yearwood are featured discussing Lynn's legacy and musical partnership with Conway Twitty and sing a portion of "After the Fire Is Gone."
