Gas Prices

Wow! Haven't seen gas prices this low in Billings in awhile! If you haven't noticed, prices at the pump have dropped below the three dollar mark! The last time we saw prices this low was almost 2 years ago!  I talked with Triple A Spokesperson Kaelyn Kelly in Helena today about the recent drop and to get some insight on what we can expect in 2013!

Gas prices averaged the highest ever in 2012 hitting $3.60. That's still well below the single highest one-day price ever in July 2008 when prices topped out at $4.11 a gallon!  Let's hope we don't see that again anytime soon!

According to AAA, Utah has the lowest prices in the country at an average of $2.89 a gallon. The national average is $3.30 a gallon.
