Get Your Priorities Right

Now that the Billings police department has added some new officers, city manager Tina Volek wants them to crack down on people driving and using their cell phones. That should not be the priority of the police. Billings has more important issues than a woman or man talking to each other.

Are they the biggest threats to society? No. The drug and drug related crime in this city should be top priority. What about all the transients who are a threat to public safety?  I feel much safer driving next to a person on their phone than I would walking in North park or on Montana Avenue at night. That’s a waste of our valuable resources......
