Give Me Old Country Music

We got a few calls and e-mails this morning raving about how good the Marty Stuart concert was Wednesday night at Alberta Bair Theatre. One of the reasons that I got into country radio is because I like the style of the music. Most of it, anyway.

I wish the older music got more airplay. I've beat my head against the walls of our consultants' offices trying to get the songs that are programmed. But, modern day country radio is busy selling downloads.

We give the classics a spin every weekday between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on our "Golden Oldies Hour."
