SIDS is a global term.  Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.Keri and I have been parents to our two boys, Bobby, 20 and Devin, 17 since 1994.  When our boys were infants we were educated on SIDS.  That was 20 years ago and it is still prevalent in our society.

From the American SIDS Institute:  Since 1983, the rate of SIDS has fallen by over 50 percent. Sadly, there are still about 2,500 deaths per year in the United States, and thousands more throughout the world.

Become aware of who Ryan was at this Sunday's Scheels-Run For Ryan at the new Scheels off of Shiloh.  Don't let the weather stop you from stopping by at 8:00 a.m. for the 10k and 8:15 a.m. for the 5k.

Even if you are not going to run in the event, please find time to come listen to Ryan's parents talk about their son Ryan and become aware of SIDS.  Ryan's dad, Greg Walter was on the Billings Morning News along with Scheels employee, Ellyn Bumgarner talking about the 2nd annual event for Ryan.
