Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson prepares to go one on one with the great ones of Mount Olympus, and whatever trials they can dish out, in an upcoming adaptation of the graphic novel 'Hercules: The Thracian Wars.'

While there was already been one Hercules movie this year, that film -- 'The Legend of Hercules' -- was met with abysmal reviews and flopped at the box office (don't remember it? Good). And since the ancient Greeks pretty much invented wrestling, it makes perfect sense that the People's Champ should be the one to take the fight to Mount Olympus.

And from the looks of the trailer, it seems that much of the movie -- which opens on July 25 -- will revolve around the famous 12 Labours of Hercules that starts with the son of Zeus' affair with a mortal woman -- a no-no that sets in motion a series of trials and tribulations on his path to redemption.

But Hercules isn't all that keen on the idea of serving a king whom he considers inferior. And in the above trailer, we see Hercules setting himself up as a hero to many of his people. We also get to see the Rock try to capture Cerberus, the three-headed hound of Hades and slay the Nemean Lion, fight the Lernaean Hydra and try to capture the Erymanthian Boar, which is the size of a building. Do you smell what the Rock is cooking? That's big-ass summer action.
